Learn how to use job types to stay organized!

What are Job Types?

Job Types represent the kinds of work that you’ll be tracking on a Job Ticket (aka Work Order, Service Request).  They are located within the first field in a Job Ticket (screenshot A).

How to Add a New Job Type

  1. Click Settings

  2. Click Lists (screenshot B)

  3. Click Job Types

  4. Click Add

  5. Fill out the Type* field and Select a Color (screenshot C)

What is “Show to Customer?”

  • Click Show to Customer for Job Types that you wish to appear for your customer on the Online Request Form.  Job Types that do not have this option selected will be hidden on the Online Request Form.

  • If you do not use the Online Request Form for your business, feel free to leave this box unchecked.
