How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your mHelpDesk account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when you sign in. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA to help protect your account and sensitive business information.

How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Log in to your mHelpDesk account.

  2. Click My Account.

  3. Locate the Two-Factor Authentication section.

  4. Click Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.

  5. Enter your current login password to verify your identity.

  6. Choose how you would like to receive your verification code:

    • Email

    • Phone Number (SMS)

  7. Follow the prompts to verify your selected method.

    Why Enable Two-Factor Authentication?

    Enabling 2FA helps protect your account by:

    • Adding an extra layer of security during login.

    • Preventing unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.

    • Helping keep your customer and business information secure.

    Important: After enabling 2FA, you'll be asked to enter a verification code each time you sign in from a new or unrecognized device. Be sure to keep your email address or phone number up to date so you can always receive your verification codes. account.
