Add and Collect Deposits

Deposit amounts can be added to or collected from the estimate.  


To add or collect a deposit from the estimate, watch the instructional video below, then use the steps and screenshots below for reference as needed:


  1. Open an estimate of your choosing.

  2. Navigate to the more button at the bottom of the estimate.

    


3. Choose Set Deposit Amount.



4. Choose either a set percentage amount, create a percentage or a dollar amount.


5. Click Save.



To Collect the Deposit:


  1. Click More at the bottom of the Estimate.



2.  Select Collect Deposit.



3. Enter the deposit details.



4. Click Save.


That’s it!  Now you have added and collected a deposit to your estimate.



Helpful Hints:

  • Once a deposit has been made,  an additional status of “Deposit Due” will populate next to your estimate status.

  • Once a deposit has been collected, an additional status of “Deposit Paid” will populate next to your estimate status.

  • To edit a deposit amount once it has been created, click More then Edit Deposit Amount.
