Who can participate in the mHelpDesk Refer-a-Friend program?
Our Referral program is open to mHelpDesk customers (those with a current, paid subscription to mHelpDesk). To refer a friend, customers must have a paid subscription to mHelpDesk at the time the Qualified Referral is made in addition to being legal residents of the United States and at least 18 years old.

How does the mHelpDesk Refer-a-Friend Program work?
mHelpDesk customers can refer friends, family members or anyone that they know or meet that has a field service business or may benefit from mHelpDesk.

mHelpDesk customers who send Qualified Referrals will receive an Amazon eGift Card reward via email, after we determine that the Referee clicked on the unique Refer-a-Friend link, has completed a product demo of mHelpDesk within 90 days of mHelpdesk receiving their information and has met our Qualified Referral requirements.

Referrals will receive a special invitation to a free trial and product demo of mHelpDesk via email. For more details about the program, including the Terms and Conditions, click here.

How can I start referring friends?
To start sending out referrals, click here and follow the prompts to share mHelpDesk with friends. Make sure to enter in your mHelpDesk account email before you hit the “Start Sharing” button. You’ll then be able to share mHelpDesk with friends via email, Facebook, Facebook Messenger or the unique link that we provide.

You can also send out referrals when you’re logged in the mHelpDesk web app. Click on “Refer a friend” button in our left navigation and then follow same prompts. Click here to login and get started.

Are there restrictions on who can be referred?
Yes, the Referee must be “new” to mHelpDesk, defined as never previously attending a product demo of mHelpDesk and never previously being a mHelpDesk paid customer. They must also meet our conditions for what constitutes a Qualified Referral, noted here.

Further, the Referrer and the Referee cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address). The Referrer can’t refer anyone in their company or household or create multiple or fake accounts. Referrers must respect the spirit of the Program by only referring third-party individuals and businesses who they think would be interested in field service automation software or its features

Any abuse of this referral program is a breach of mHelpDesk’s Refer-a-Friend Program Terms and Conditions and mHelpDesk’s Terms of use and we reserve the right to investigate any suspicious or inappropriate activity relating to the Referral Program, along with the right to take action against the Referrer’s account?

Is there a limit on how many friends I can refer?
No, refer as many friends, but here are some examples of good referrals:

  • Your friends that are field service pros.
  • Your family members that have other field service businesses.
  • Anyone you’ve talked to in real life that has a field service business and you think might benefit from mHelpDesk.
  • A small private Facebook, Meetup or LinkedIn group where you know everyone that can see your posts

Some examples of bad referrals that will not constitute as Qualified Referrals:

  • Visitors to an unrelated blog post.
  • A Craigslist listing promising a payout to field service pros.
  • Hijacking the top comment on a LinkedIn post.
  • Mass email to your entire family.

Are there limits on rewards that can be earned?
Yes, additional/repeat demos by the same Referee cannot be counted as additional Qualified Referrals and therefore will not garner additional rewards; in other words, you can’t earn multiple Amazon.com gift cards for the same Referee.

If you are referring individuals who work or are part of the same company and they all complete a product demo, you are limited to earning one $50 Amazon.com gift card; in other words,  you can't earn multiple gifts for referees from the same company.

Further, Referrals must meet the Qualified Referral conditions and requirements noted here.

What happens if my coworker and I refer the same person, who would get the reward?
The reward will go to the advocate whose shared link was clicked on last by the referred friend. For example:

Let's say you complete our referral program form and share mHelpDesk with Jim.
Then your coworker completes our referral program form and shares mHelpDesk with Jim.

Jim clicks your link, but doesn't sign up for a product demo.
Then Jim clicks on your coworker's link and signs up for a product demo.

In this case, your coworker would receive the $50 Amazon eGift Card after Jim completes a product demo and meets the conditions for a Qualified Referral.

What happens if I referred a friend, but I haven’t received my $50 Amazon eGift Card reward?
This likely means your friend hasn’t completed a product demo of mHelpDesk. You can check in with your friend and remind them to click on the link or email you sent them and schedule a demo. Go to the Refer a Friend button in our web app or here to share a link or email with them again.

If your friend has completed the product demo, make sure they meet the Qualified Referral conditions and requirements. Reach out to marketing@mhelpdesk.com with any questions or concerns.

I’ve got a friend who had mHelpDesk before and now may be interested in signing back up. Can I get credit for them if they complete a product demo again?
No, the Referee must be “new” to mHelpDesk, which means he or she must never before attended a product demo of mHelpDesk and has never been a mHelpDesk paid customer.

Can mHelpDesk Employees participate in the mHelpDesk Refer-a-Friend Program?
No, employees of mHelpDesk, its parent company, subsidiaries and affiliates are not eligible to participate in the mHelpDesk Refer-a-Friend Program.
