Do you complete maintenance or other regularly recurring work for your customers?
mHelpDesk's Recurring Jobs Feature will help you automate the scheduling of your upcoming planned jobs
First, let's enable this feature
Navigate to Settings > Add Ons (Screenshot A)
Click on the toggle/switch next to Recurring Jobs until it turns green (screenshot B)
Now let's see it in action!
First add a new job (screenshot C)
Select your customer and specify that you would like to create a recurring job (screenshot D)
Choose when you would like the jobs to begin, how often you would like them to repeat, and for how long you would like this series of jobs to continue (screenshot E, section 1).
Specify what time and which technician you would like to be associated with these visits (screenshot E, section 2). These can be changed later, as they may vary from job to job.
Choose how far in advance you would like the job to be created. Choose the "Generate a new job for each visit" toggle to start with a fresh ticket for each job. Selecting the "Copy custom fields" checkbox copies the contents of your custom job fields onto all tickets in the series. (section 3)
Add recurring invoices to automate your billing process! (section 4)
Make sure you press Save to preserve your changes! (section 5)
Click on Edit Schedule to update the frequency or schedule of the series of visits. (section 1)
To disable a series of visits going forward, click on Disable Future Visits. You can choose to view a certain cross section of visits by clicking Filters. (section 2)
In your list of visits, you can view your job numbers in chronological order.
You can also update your jobs after the recurrence schedule has been created.
You can delete certain jobs in the series. Generate the job ticket (screenshot F, section 3) to create the ticket prior to the date you have previously scheduled it to generate (refer back to screenshot E3).
Add recurring invoices afterward (section 4) by selecting Reactivate Future Invoices.

Be mindful when making changes to the master recurring job. If you close the original master job, the jobs generated thereafter will begin in the closed status.
Many service professionals manage the first scheduled visit via second job generated. This is because the master recurring job is best left static. The reason is that, if you fill out descriptions or change key details on the master recurring job, those changes will carry over to the jobs generated afterward.
